only two of my four kids went to preschool. The other two I taught at home since teaching was my profession for years. However, I think most people can easily teach their children until a certain level, and others could probably do so the whole 13 years. The point is, that if what I eat were that important to me, I would pass on the preschool and teach my child at home where I can feed them. I have always seen the importance of learning, and my last child who is two knows his whole alphabet, and even can count to 50, but I don't see that it matters where they learn it. Preschool has always been an option, but in my mind not necessarily an advantage. However, I do think she should talk with other parents and maybe find some like-minded people. I think if they spoke with administration on WHY the rule is in place, and presented their reasons, maybe they can effect a change.

I love your advice to speak up! Paige have you spoken to other parents at the preschool to see how they feel? Sometimes it helps to have a united front when questioning a situation. The ongoing saga with food and schools continues. I'm constantly amazed by the backwards systems in place. Good for you for speaking up!
